Intimate weddings include more time focused on you two, an abundance of time to embrace every moment, a day focused on your love, not a huge event.
Why intimate weddings? For myself, I've always dreamt of having a small intimate wedding. When the time finally came around to get married, you bet that was the plan. We escaped to the mountains with our closest 20 people. No strict timeline, no stress about decor, pleasing people. It was the best day ever! We got to focus on our union, not the events of the day! After spending years photographing large weddings of 100+ guests, I saw the ins and outs of a wedding day. At the end of every.single.wedding I'd think, "Wow, the couple didn't even get to enjoy their time together." It was truly upsetting to watch as couples raced around, family & bridal party members sweat as they set up the final details, everyone was STRESSED! The day ended feeling so empty. There is always something so different about a small intimate wedding. Everyone gets to relax, the couple gets to soak in every memory & the day is focused on your lives coming together! To me this is so life-giving. That is why I've chosen to skip the large weddings and focus on capturing small intimate weddings. It's where my heart is! How intimate is intimate you may ask?!... I do not book weddings larger than 75 guests.
I get a small wedding isn't for everyone... and that is okay! You do whatever you have envisioned. If you've always dreamt of saying I do with less people, less stress & more love, than I am your girl!
